Frequently asked questions

  • Why should I choose Embroidery over print?

This is personal choice. Some people prefer the look of embroidery. Print does give a clean look for certain designs.

  • What garments are better suited to embroidery?

Embroidery is good for thicket fabrics e.g. sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, fleeces and polos.

  • How many colours can I have in my design?

Almost as many as you would like. Designs do vary but usually consist of up to 16 colours although we have done designs with a lot more. Individual quotes can be provided for more intricate designs which also take longer.

  • Are there any materials that cannot be embroidered on?

  • Does the embroidery fray?

Embroidery should not fray unless the garment is mishandled, please ensure washing instructions are followed and we would recommend a delicate wash.

  • How long does the vinyl last?

We use a premium quality vinyl that is guaranteed for 100 washes. Provided the washing instructions are followed there is no reason why this shouldn’t be the case. Some of our hardened trade customers have told us the garments wear out before the vinyl does after 2 years.
